Description

Up for auction here is Prokofiev's "Love For Three Oranges" suite and the mighty "Scythian Suite" performed by the London Symphony Orchestra conducted by Antal Dorati on the Mercury Living Presence label, catalog #SR 90006. The LP (with FR4 / FR2 stampers) is would be NM- except for a small vinyl bubble that causes 8 low level "heartbeat" thumps on side 1. The cover has some "residue" on front at the opening (I see this often on old Mercurys and don't know what the cause is....if anyone knows, please let me know)...there is also rubwear on back and a corner crease at lower right on front. Also there is some spine chipping at top left and bottom left and maybe a half an inch at bottom right. All of these flaws summed together probably bring the cover grade down to VG-, but the front graphics display so well, I think the grade is deceptive....it's a fairly nice cover. And the record (of course) is a sonic tour de force.....really one to show off dynamic slam in a system. Please view my other auctions for more great classical LPs.

Shipping is $4 in the US (or $8 for Priority Mail), $14 to Canada and $24 to the rest of the world. Additional LPs are $1 each in the US, $3 to Canada and $6 each to the rest of the world. I pack records outside of the covers to protect the seams from splitting. They are shipped in dedicated record mailers with padded inserts. I spend a lot of time and money on shipping with care so your record looks as good when it arrives as it did when it left.
