Item Description You are looking at an authentic and highly desirable vinyl Lp record album on quality vinyl at 33 1/3 rpm and is not to be missed! Here we have an outstanding, and highly collectible record. This is a Mercury Living Presence Stereo original pressing. These Mercuries are some of the very best classical records ever made with many of these making Harry Pearson's The Absolute Sound list and will rival anything made by any other label in recorded history.
This one is SR 90257 Still Sahdji Ballet conducted by Howard Hanson. This is a very rare and hard to find Mercury pressing in gorgeous near mint minus condition. We dropped the needle on each side and heard sterling audiophile sound. Records like this are what got Mercury their great reputation and why they sell consistently for big money. Side 2 has a scratch on Track 1 which does not sound at all. Record has early FR-1/FR-1 stampers. One of the best and rarest Mercuries. Early Colorback (CB) jacket. Has original and correct Mercury inner sleeve. Note: Has some writing on back cover (WOBC). Thanks for looking and best of luck to you in this auction.
