The SR-90000 series is the crown jewel of the Mercury classical catalog. They are still highly regarded by audiophiles and music lovers, and some are considered the very best recordings of the works they contain, both technically and artistically.
Condition: Laminated colorback sleeve has very light ring wear. Corners opposite the spine have light wear but are still sharp. Back has writing in ball point pen in the top left corner. Vinyl is shiny with minor paper scuffs and light hairlines. A very strong EXcellent.

Review: It was Respighi’s fascination with ancient dances and songs that inspired him to write his bird suite. His great love for such music is felt in every single movement of this work. While Respighi imbued each of the bird portraits with his very own sound coloring typical of his time, there is an original masterpiece by a Renaissance or Baroque composer lurking in the background.
