Description
Hi! You're looking at a VERY RARE and hard to find record which is an AUDIOPHILE issue on the great MERCURY LIVING PRESENCE label, which was responsible for some of the finest vinyl ever pressed in the late 1950s and early 1960s--the record is an ORIGINAL ISSUE (with a full-color back surface) and a STEREO copy and bears the serial number SR 90267. The LP has a NEAR MINT- condition cover which has partially intact ORIGINAL FACTORY SHRINKWRAP with some tearing and aging on the back surface and some light discoloration along the opening edge of the back cover; the vinyl is in NEAR MINT- condition with just a few paper scuffs that should not affect play. The record is titled "The Composer and His Orchestra, Vol. 2" and features composer and conductor HOWARD HANSON, who leads The Eastman-Rochester Orchestra. The record features a brilliant performance of the composition "Mosaics" by HOWARD HANSON, which also features analysis and musical examples by the composer.
