Description
HI-FI a la ESPANOLA: Eastman Rochester "Pops" Orchestra (Fennell), on Mercury Living Presence, SR 90144.
Vinyl Condition: Near Mint
Sleeve Condition: EX++
Description: Yes, the most coveted Living Presence release,very high up in the TAS List, and this copy is in sensational condition. It is also the first pressing featuring stampers on side 1 read "SR 90144A FR1" and "P17", "I" & "P1" appearing off to the side as well. Side 2 stampers: "SR90144B FR1" and "P17" "I" and ""A1" appearing off to the side in the run off groove. The sleeve also features the "coloured" printing on the rear.
The LP was housed in a poly. sleeve within the original "Hi-Fi Stereo" innersleeve saving it from any paper burn! You would not find a cleaner copy of this fine LP less than finding a sealed copy. A more detailed condition report is written below.
All the LPs feature in this series of auctions came from a collection that was meticulously maintained. Kept in a specifically designed closed shelving unit, keeping the lps in sensational condition.
Condition Details:
- Vinyl: Serioulsy clean copy! This LP appear to have been played perhaps once? as there is only one visible spindle trail on the label. The vinyl, is near perfect, just one feather light papery mark (really only seen under strong direct light), barely visible and "I'm only mentioning it due to the extreme rarity of this LP in such fine condition. It certainly doesn't have any baring on the fidelity of this LP.
- Labels: Super clean, only one tiny spindle trail.
- Sleeve: Straight and clean, one tiny corner bump, the lightest of shelfwear to the rear. Just a small number "35" written top left rear of the slleve. You might just be able to make it out on the photo.
- Innersleeve: Original Mercury Hi-Fi STERO innersleve is in near Mint condition.
