This auction is for two (2) LP's by MERCYFUL FATE:

MERCYFUL FATE "Melissa" 1983 LP (Megaforce/Roadrunner Recds)
MERCYFUL FATE "Don't Break The Oath" 1984 LP (Roadrunner/Important Recds)

This is the cult metal metal band MERCYFUL FATE and this is their 2 full length LP's released in 1983 & 1984. I bought these myself in 1984, so they're original pressings.
They have been played and you can tell - there are some scuffs and scratches, and fingerprints. More-so on the "Oath" LP. But I didn't notice anything affecting play. But during the song "Melissa" there are pops and noises during the quiet parts.

The LP's sleeves themselves are in good condition, but the "Don't Break The Oath" LP cover has 3 scuffs on the bottom right - 1 just under the hand, 1 on the far right finger and 1 above the knuckles. There are a few creases on the edges as well.
The "Melissa" LP cover is in better condition with no scuffs, but there are creases here and there near the sides and you can very faintly see the imprint of letters or words on the cover - I must have been writing on a piece of paper and used the LP cover as a backdrop - I was probably 16. Oh well. You only notice it when turning the LP cover under a bright light.

If you don't know the tracklistings to these 2 LP's then don't bother. LOL. You should know!! Mercyful Fate rules.
