Description

 

Impossible to find original Israeli 7" 45rpm EP by Greek singer Meri Kaly.

Kely is singing songs by Stelios Kazantzidis, Hadjidakis and Atalidis.

Although the cover and label stating "Recorded in Greece" I couldn't find any assurance that Kaly was indeed a Greek singer. It was common in Israel at the time to record local artists and give them "Greek" names in order to create an "authentic" recording. either way this is a MUST for collectors of Kazantzidis, Hadjidakis and Greek music.

Pressed in Israel in the 50s(?) by the local Ron-Ly record company in no more than 100 copies.

Housed in a marvelous flipback picture sleeve. Unique catalog number.

Packaging

 

Records are wrapped in bubble-nylon and packed in a high-quality heavy cardboard package. Record is being taken out of the sleeve to avoid damages while shipping.

Grading

 

I use "Record Collector" grading method (Mint, NM, EX, VG, etc.)

My highest grade for a non-sealed records is usually NM (Near Mint) I will grade it as Mint only if it's sealed or if I am 100% certain that this record was hardly ever played and has no pressings faults. I will not list records less than VG condition unless they are extremely rare.
