Description
Here's a beautiful original copy of the Merrell Fankhauser H.M.S. Bounty LP,on Shamley. This is a classic sixties record with wonderful songs that are all over the musical spectrum:from garage,fuzz and folk rock,to sitar psych and sunshine pop. From his earlier surf garage group Fapordokly to his later prog psych with MU, it's a shame Merrell isn't better known. The cover gets a conservative EX, for Very slight ringwear,mostly on the top half,a 1/2" crease on the bottom left corner,and a small 1/4" bend at the bottom right corner. There are No seam splits or edgewear. The disc is a solid,glossy M- on side 2,and nearly as nice on side 1. A few light sleeve scuffs,a 3/8" needle mark that is 90% in the trail-off dead wax,and a couple of small(1/2") surface pressing marks that all Do Not Affect Play make side 1 a strong EX.
