Description

This is it, the absolute holy grail of Collector's records especially for Metallica Collector's. As seen in the photos, cover has some ringwear on front and back along with some creases but there are no seam splits. Record has only one blemish that is not audible with a surface mark on side 2 that goes through track 1 &2.  Plays flawlessly through both sides.

The 1st pressing has the black skull front cover and only Metal Blade records on the back. The labels are a silver and black simple typeset, and the Ratt and Steeler songs are on it while the Black and Blue song is missing. "The New Heavy Metal Revue" was a fanzine produced by Brian Slagel, the founder of Metal Blade. This compilation also marks Metallica's first appearance on vinyl with the infamous misprint "METTALLICA" on the back cover.

I am listing this one at the same price the last one sold at on ebay and it was in much worse condition so don't wait on this one too long.
