METAL URBAIN Paris Maquis (Rough Trade RT 001) Original UK 1st Pressing MINT!
Very RARE original UK first pressing of Metal Urbain`s single "Paris Maquis" b/w "Clé De Contact" on Rough Trade Records (December 1977).
Released in the last month of "the year that punk broke", pioneering French punk group Metal Urbain licensed "Paris Maquis" to the then-fledgling independent record label, Rough Trade. "Paris Maquis" was Rough Trade`s very first single (RT 001) and, as such, it has become a definite piece of punk-rock history.
GRADING:

MINT(-) RECORD, perfect. Played exactly once for audio assessment only. Straight from old store stock!
This single stems from a small collection of 7" pearls picked up at the closing-down sale of a local record store. All singles are from old store stock and have been in (dry, safe) storage since the store owner originally acquired them from Rough Trade UK distribution at the time of original release, i.e. in 1978 and 1979!
This might well be the last time you see these items in MINT UNPLAYED condition - so please bid wisely and with confidence!
