Description

Elektra ED 5042, Metallica - Fade To Black 12" promo single, fluorescent green vinyl. Same song and version on both sides. The thick, clear poly sleeve has the original sticker intact, it is vg+ with some wear but no tears or splits, and the flap on the back and the band which holds it in place are intact. There is a Discwasher V.R.P. "plasticizer" inner sleeve inside the original sleeve to further protect the record. It is similar to the padded sleeves that come with MFSL records. The blue print from the inner sleeve has come off a bit onto the outer sleeve. The record itself grades visually a strong excellent, just a few light scuffs short of near mint. The record plays with light surface noise which is more noticeable at the beginning of the songs and is not heard as the music gets louder. Play grade of vg+ due to the surface noise. The white labels are clean and free of spindle marks. Nice, clean copy of a rare Metallica promo record.
