vinyl records as a product, and CD backups as a service. I believe in protecting the rights of the recording industry, and the artists which they represent. I invoke the "Fair Use" portion of copyright law.

"Fair use permits consumers' limited personal, non-commercial use of lawfully obtained copyrighted material without prior consent of the copyright owner. It allows you to make back-ups of music you own onto CDs or cassette tapes. The U.S. Supreme Court has held that fair use is necessary to avoid an irreconcilable conflict between copyright law and the First Amendment's guarantee of free speech. If you want to protect your right to make back-up copies of your vinyl records, it's time to tell Washington to put it in writing. Don't let your fair use rights disappear in the digital age.
