Beautiful copy of the 1983 Megaforce pressing of Metallica’s first album, Kill ‘Em All, on MRI-069. This was the independent label that released their first two albums before they started getting famous and were signed to Elektra, which reissued them both later. This is a true 1983 pressing from when they were just starting, a couple of years before Elektra signed them. And a remarkably clean copy. The disc is very nearly perfectly mint and plays flawlessly and just beautifully. There might be the slightest tiny scuff or two but really barely at all. This is a truly fantastic copy. The cover has light cornerwear, particularly at the lower corners. The lower right is slightly dinged and the lower left is fraying a little, but really it isn’t bad. Aside from that a little general shelfwear and signs of gentle use, but really quite an unusually clean cover. Most of the early pressings you see are in rather worse shape. The original inner sleeve is also included, with a bit of light wrinkling but really not much. This is a truly top silver label Megaforce copy, a real rarity, and hard to beat this condition.
