Metallica - Master of Puppets - First pressing 1986 original vinyl (Allied pressing, rare matrix variant).
This is a 1986 first pressing from Allied record company, the best sounding direct metal mastered version. It’s super crisp and heavy. Also, this record is a much less common matrix variant (the code etched into the dead wax) than the majority of the Allied copies out there. Check the photos for the information from Discogs. If you are a collector, you’ll want to add this. The vinyl looks great spinning on the table and has most of its original luster. There are light scuffs and very mild surface noise (heard during quiet parts and between songs, doesn’t overpower music), overall VG/VG+ sound. However, there is one ding in the quiet intro to Damage Inc. that causes several pops; doesn’t skip or loop on my set up. I cannot guarantee the same across all tables of course, so please be aware that that might be an issue. Labels are clean, slightly worn on the edge on side 2. The sleeve has some creases and a small tear on the back. Generic inner sleeve.
