Description
This is a rare Collector's Edition Gatefold Sleeve 12" of One, catalogue number METG512. Features the previously unreleased original demo version of "One".
The label explains "This is the original demo of "ONE" that we recorded on James's four track right after we wrote the song around the secong week of November '87. It's basically just guitars, drums and vocals with Kirk coming in and laying down the solo after he'd only heard the song the day before, and since there were only four tracks there is no bass."
Live versions of "For Whom the Bell Tolls" and "Creeping Death" are on side two.
The gatefold sleeve opens out to a 4-page booklet "A day on the road", which features insightful contributions from each band member's technicians. This is a must have piece for any collection and would make an excellent gift for any Metallica fan.
The vinyl is in excellent condition and has been very well looked after. The sleeve is also in excellent condition with only minor marks around the edges, really superb for a record which is 17 years old! The original sticker is still attched. The record has been stored inside a protective plastic sleeve which will be included. Bid now to avoid disappointment.

Notes about vinyl grading
The condition of vinyl is always a matter of opinion, but in general, the following guidelines have been followed in order to give you an idea of the condition:
Mint The Record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint. ExcellentThe record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good
The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on cover or extra items, without any major defects is acceptable.
The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from, folding scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
The record is still playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Bad The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection-filler.
