Beautiful copy of the rare original 1984 first pressing of Metallica’s Ride the Lightning, on Megaforce MRI-769. This is one of the rarest of Metallica’s records, as they were signed to Elektra just as this original independent version was released, so there was only one relatively small pressing, after which all the copies available were on the Elektra label. This is the original on the silver Megaforce label. And it is a super clean copy. The disc looks amazing and plays absolutely perfectly. There are a few very very light superficial marks but they are not any big deal at all, and certainly don’t affect the play in the least. Really a flawless playing copy. The cover is also remarkably clean, with only light ringwear noticeable in spots, and jut the slightest bit of edgewear and signs of handling, but overall amazingly clean and crisp. The original inner is also included, in similarly near pristine shape. Really a top copy, hard to beat.
