Description
I have 2 Metallica records on the auction block. The 1st is "Ride the Lightning" #60396-1 Megaforce/Elektra/Asylum Records 1984. The record itself sounds good. I played it on 11, and banged my head accordingly, which is tough at my age(43) because I am going to feel that in the morning. Anyhow, No skips, just light surface noise, only audible between songs. The liner notes/lyrics have a seam split and some shmutz(see last 2 pics) on the edge as well as on the sleeve, but no seam splits on cover of LP.
The 2nd is "Master of Puppets" (or as I like to call it "Pastor of Muppets") #60439-1 Elektra/Asylum Records1986. The record sounds good as well. Twas also played on 11, and much headbanging was displayed. (Ouch) No skips, just light surface noise only audible between songs. The liner notes/lyrics have a seam split as well, and Lars' face is present, so that sucks. But the LP cover has no seam split and no shmutz either. Just normal shelf wear.
I really enjoyed listening to these records, as it has been a few years. You can almost smell the bong hits...really takes me back, ahhhh. Feel free to ask questions.
