Here is the 19 track US Double LP/ Album Operation: Doomsday by MF Doom from 1999. Housed in a card picture sleeve & released on Fondle Em Records, the Catalogue Number is FE-86. The records themselves are housed within plain inner sleeves, although they look like UK inner sleeves, rather than US inner sleeves. I therefore assume that they are not the ones that the records were originally released in. The track listing is The Time We Faced DOOM - SKIT/ DOOMSDAY/ Rhymes Like Dimes - FEAT. CUCUMBER SLICE/ The Finest - FEAT. TOMMY GUNN/ Back In The Days - SKIT/ Go With The Flow/ Tick, Tick…- FEAT. MF. GRIMM/ Red And Gold - FEAT. KING GHIDRA/ The Hands Of DOOM - SKIT/ Who You Think I Am? - FEAT. X-RAY, RODAN, MEGALON, K.D., KING GHIDRA & KONG/ DOOM, Are You Awake? - SKIT/ Hey!/ Operation: Greenbacks - FEAT. MEGALON/ The Mic/ The Mysteries Of DOOM - SKIT/ Dead Bent/ Gas Drawls/ ? - FEAT. KURIOUS/ Hero V.S. Villain - epilogue - FEAT. E. MASON. I assume the package was made in the US for US release. The package is housed within its original shrink-wrap, which has been opened along the open edge of the sleeve. PLEASE NOTE: In order to show as much detail as possible, some pictures have been merged together to create single images (e.g. views of records in inner sleeves, views of records out of inner sleeves & views of the matrix numbers). Some images show irregular dark patches, here & there. These are caused by reflections from a nearby window, & are not present on the item for sale. Some of the views of the matrix numbers aren’t particular good, as it was almost impossible to get the light right

Side 0 Matrix: FE-86-0

Side 1 Matrix: FE-86-1

Side 2 Matrix: FE-86-2

Side 3 Matrix: FE-86-3

This information indicates that it comes from the First Pressing run of 3000 from 1999. All other versions on other labels credit the sides as A, B, C & D in the run-off, rather than 0, 1, 2 & 3. This includes an unofficial re-release on Fondle Em from 2006. The original status of this example is also confirmed by the lack of a barcode on the back sleeve.

Condition as follows including photographs: The sleeve is in very good/ very good plus condition, due to slight creasing & slight wear. There are a few small nicks & wear to the open edge of the sleeve. A couple of corners have been slightly compressed by the shrink-wrap, where it has contracted over time. There is an 8cm tear to the shrink-wrap, from the back open edge. The inner sleeve for Record 1 is in very good condition, while the inner sleeve for Record 2 is in very good minus condition, due to a 1.5cm tear to the bottom edge of the inner sleeve. The Vinyl for Record 1 is in very good/ very good plus condition, while the Vinyl for Record 2 is in very good condition. There are numerous shallow surface scuffs, which don’t appear to affect play. All four sides play through well, with no jumping, skipping or sticking. The overall sound is excellent. There is very occasional slight/ minimal surface noise, mostly in quieter passages & between tracks. I thought there was surface noise during Tick, Tick… and Who You Think I Am?, but then realised that it was part of the recording. There may be the occasional light click here & there. I don’t think the surface noise is invasive & so would not expect it to affect your listening pleasure. I always expect some surface noise from records of this age & condition. There is slight staining to the 0>side & 2>side labels. See below for NOTES ON CONDITION*.

PLEASE NOTE: Royal Mail Postage charges may be higher than you would expect. If you purchase more than one item please don't pay until I have contacted you. I will send you an invoice with revised Postage. Although I try to keep costs down where possible by using Standard services, where multiple purchases are made it may sometimes be necessary to use other options. For buyer & seller peace of mind, I may adjust the postage rate when sending an invoice.

*NOTES ON CONDITION: I grade according to the Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide & will not necessarily list all individual points in the written description. There will be a blanket grade for each component (sleeve, record etc), which smaller factors fall into. The general appearance will be clearly visible in the photographs. Please study the photographs in detail as they form the bulk of the description. Please be aware that play grading is based on my interpretation of what I hear on my system only. Although it is an honest assessment, it does not automatically follow that you would reach the same conclusion when listening on your own system, as there are so many variables. I DON’T use Record Collector Rare Record Price Guide categories when play grading, just my own judgement.

You shouldn’t have any problems with the transaction but please contact me first if you do.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
