Record Label: Mobile Fidelity MFSL 1-076
Long Out Of Print, an early MoFi version of the audiophile classic. Sourced from the original stereo analog master tapes, Half Speed Mastered by Stan Ricker and pressed on High Definition Super Vinyl by the Victor Company of Japan.
Mobile Fidelity reissues are among the finest recordings ever produced and very limited in quantity.
Condition: Sleeve is in great condition save for a slightly stubbed top right corner and the very beginnings of a split on the middle bottom of the sleeve. There is no wear on the front or back. Three of the corners are sharp. There are no spindle marks on the label. Comes with special heavy-duty protective packaging and static and dust-free inner sleeve. Vinyl looks shiny and plays like new.

Review: This is the perfect setting for acoustic guitarist Earl Klugh, playing strong melodies (including such standards as "Smoke Gets in Your Eyes," "Laura," "Mona Lisa," and "Two for the Road") while joined by strings and several horns in an orchestra arranged and conducted by David Matthews. As usual for a Klugh session, the guitarist sticks mostly to the themes and does not improvise much, as he never considered himself a jazz player; but the overall effect is quite pleasing. ~ AMG
