The first to feature Michael McDonald on lead vocals, 'Takin' It to the Streets' is the sixth studio album by American rock band The Doobie Brothers, released in 1976.
This Original Master Recording was made using the half-speed production process. The pressing was sourced from the original stereo analog master tapes. The disc was specially plated and pressed on high definition Super Vinyl by the Victor Company of Japan, Ltd. These are considered by audiophiles to be among the finest recordings ever produced and very limited in quantity.
Upper right corner of gatefold cover is stubbed. Otherwise in like new condition. Vinyl is new looking. There are no spindle marks on the label and record plays beautifully. Comes with special heavy-duty protective packaging and static and dust-free inner sleeve.

Review: The first recorded incarnation of the Doobies Part II, the edition of the band featuring gravel-voiced keyboardist Michael MacDonald. It's clearly a transitional album, and a pretty big departure from the band's original style. You can hear the new direction most clearly on the album's two hit singles... the title tune and "It Keeps You Running."
