MFSL BEATLES "Please Please Me" SEALED LP MoFi 1-101

     Up for auction is a STILL SEALED, absolutely mint copy of Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs audiophile pressing of The Beatles' "Please Please Me," catalog number MFSL 1-101.  This is the British version of the record album, with "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You" rechanneled for stereo - not that the lucky winner will be playing it!  This copy is unopened, and still sealed in the original perforated loose plastic baggie with the flag sticker on it.

     I collect Mobile Fidelity LPs, but for listening (on a Linn Sondek w/ Ortofon Kontrapunkt a).  I bought this album in a lot of Mobile Fidelity LPs, but I couldn't bring myself to open it up and play it.  I'd like to pass it on to a collector who wants to keep a sealed copy.

     This copy is almost perfect - the only imperfections are a slight ding in the upper right hand corner (when viewed from the front), and a small (1/2") cut or tear in the plastic on the middle of the right side, just to the right of the perforation (when viewed from the front).  The tear only goes through the front of the plastic, and the entire perforation is completely intact.  I've tried to get a close-up of the tear with a dark background for contrast, but it doesn't show up well.  Likewise, the ding doesn't show up too well.  The bag is nice and clear, other than a small (about 1/2") spot on the backside where a price tag may have been (you can just see it in the photo around the "c" on the "O.M.R." tag across the top).
