Description

Up for auction is Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab's release of Chicago's "Chicago Transit Authority" double Lp, Catalogue # MFSL 2-128, originally released in March of 1984. This Lp was half speed mastered and  pressed on MFSL supervinyl, by the Victor Company of Japan, and is the very finest pressing of this title in existance. By the way, this Lp stands out as Chicago's very best Lp. The songs include: Side One: "Introduction","Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?","Beginnings". Side Two: "Questions 67 and 68","Listen","Poem 58". Side Three: "Free Form Guitar", "South California Purples","I'm A Man". Side Four:"Prologue August 29, 1968", "Someday (August 29, 1968)","Liberation". The gatefold cover is in Mint- condition, with barely any marks at all. The gatefold itself appears to have never been opened before I opened it. The oringinal cardboard inserts and limited warranty are all included. Both Lps look stunning with no visible marks. There are some stray spindle marks on the label of side two and one stray spindle mark on the label of side 3. The Lp set will be shipped inside of a sturdy Lp mailer, with cardboard padding.
