ONE OF THE GREAT CLASSICS OF ALL TIME! GOODBYE YELLOW BRICK ROAD SEALED #90 MFSL LP DOUBLE ORIGINAL MASTER RECORDING LP. HISTORY-I HAD A FRIEND AT MFSL WHO HELPED ME GET THE LOWEST NUMBERED PRESSINGS AVAILABLE AFTER OTHER FRIENDS AND EMPLOYEES BOUGHT THEIRS. Probably the lowest # that will ever be offered! Mobile Fidelity pressing of the Elton John album titled "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" (MFSL 2-160). LIMITED EDITION #90. This is one of a handful of albums that Mobile Fidelity put out at the very end of the JVC pressings. Only 5000 copies were made (the same number as the UHQR titles), and each one had a serial number. MFSL stands for Mobile Fidelity Sound Labs. This is an out-of-print pressing from the original master recording tapes. The Albums have been stored vertically at room temperature in a non smoking enviroment and among other records. MFSL records use little or no compression using very powerful amps for fantastic dynamic headroom and the source is the Original Master tapes, these albums are truly the audio standard for all music formats. All early MFSL albums were pressed at the Victor Company in Japan on their (now no longer available) proprietary SUPER VINYL. This super quiet vinyl is by far the best ever created and has absolutely no memory which allows a track to be played over and over without damage to the vinyl! The top left corner has a small bend, maybe a quarter of an inch which probably happened when it was shipped originally. Otherwise it is entirely as new.
