Originally released almost 53 years ago today, 'From Elvis In Memphis' remains one of Elvis Presley's most listenable studio albums.  Even people who generally don't listen to Presley's music find themselves enjoying this particular release.  After having listened to various 1st pressings from the U.S., Japan, UK, Germany....I concluded that the Mobile Fidelity pressing from 1981(MFSL 1-059)  was the most balanced, detailed, warm-sounding, and had the widest soundstage.  It really is by far the best pressing out there.
