This is the
Half Speed Mastered
Mobile Fidelity LP
of the
U2
album titled
"The Unforgettable Fire"
(MFSL 1-207) (1995)
This is one of the albums that Mobile Fidelity put out on 200 gram vinyl, almost the same weight as the UHQR series. Only 5000 copies were made of the UHQR titles, far less were were pressed of this title, probably only about 3000 or so. JVC had minimum pressing runs that they would do, but with the Anadisc series they could press as many, or as few as they wanted.
This one has a super low serial number of 0125 !!
It is a beautiful copy with no splits or tears in the gatefold jacket. There is just the tiniest of corner bumps at the lower right (see photo of serial number). The record appears unplayed with no marks or scratches, even under intense light. There are no spindle marks on the labels. You would have to get a sealed copy to get any better.
