Description
Up for auction is a copy of Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab's release of Miles Davis' "Someday My Prince Will Come Lp, catalog # MFSL 1-177,Specially plated and pressed on High Definition Super Vinyl by Victor Company Of Japan. originally released at the end of MFSL's 1st wave of vinyl releases in 1984. Songs on this disc include; "Someday My Prince will Come","Old Folks","Pfrancing", "Drad-Dog", "Teo" and "I Thought About You". The Lp is a strong "VG+", side one has about 5 or six very faint light marks that you must study the record under a light bulb for several minutes to see. Side two has no marks on it at all. The record is very quiet, except for a two ticks at the very beginning of Side one, track one, for the most part the marks are unaudible during play of the record. I was amazed at the high fidelity this record delivers.The cover has no wring wear or seam splits. The record has a small round sticker with the word "Last" on the record label of side one and side two. "Last" is a vinyl preservative that is supposed to help the record grooves stand up to repeated play. There is a small ding in the bottom left front of the cover and another ding in the top right corner of the cover, there is a small ding. The Lp comes with the oringinal cardboard stiffner. This Lp is one of the best titles that MFSL ever released.The winning bidder will pay $4.50 for U.S. Mail's Media Mail service, this will include the first $50 worth of insurance.
