Description
A factory sealed copy of one of the landmark audiophile recordings of modern music of the past fifty years. This record has been kept in a smoke and pet free environment, and stored according to the recommendations of the Library of Congress. There is a very small tear to the outer plastic on the right-hand side, other than that it looks exactly what one would have brought in the store in the early 1980's (including the price sticker of 14.98) evidence that it is factory sealed and not a subsequent resealing of a used copy in mint condition. Sealed copies of this record are getting rarer and rarer as time goes on, fueled partly by the resurgent interest in vinyl recordings over digital formats.
The block lettering on the front denotes that it is from the early pressing. This edition is more collectable than the later pressing which uses italics.
