Procol Harum: A Salty Dog (remastered) (180g) (Limited-Numbered-Edition No. 806 )
With "A Salty Dog", the British band Procol Harum demonstrated that the musical talents of its members spanned quite different styles. While their first two albums were produced on the fly, Procol Harum took an appropriate amount of time for their third opus. This gave the band the chance to let their ideas mature: right away with the title track they managed to create one of their best songs ever. But also the country piece "Juicy John Pink", the Otis Redding reminiscent "Crucifiction Lane" and the virtuoso keyboard playing in "Pilgrim's Progress" convince.
Krieg Wunderlich, assisted by Rob LoVerde, took over the remastering of the analogue tapes for Mobile Fidelity. The 180g vinyl LP with 33 1 / 3 RPM is released in a limited edition of 3,000 copies in a mini LP cover. So collectors should secure their copy in time!
