Forever Vinyl Presents: MFSL Pink Floyd DSOTM Dark Side of the Moon Sample Pressing. Japan LP Rare of the Rare 1-017 Audiophile - One of the rarest Pink Floyd items out there. They don't get much rarer. This came from a rep from MFSL via his best friend. The rep said this was created before MFSL finished the artwork for the cover of the album and was one of the first 100 copies created for the album. It's rare and you never never see them.  It does have fingerprints and light but audible scratches and smears. Plain white cover. X on the label. I've got a sound sample and I picked what I consider one of the passages where you'd hear a louder click or pop which was near the end of the album by Brain Damage and Eclipse. Listen I used the Audicity software with all extras turned off to record this as a wave file. By using the Audicity software, you can see when the file ticks and it's not horrible and it isn't everywhere on the LP but when you are buying records from me, I want you know just what you are getting. I am also showing photos of the vinyl trying to catch the marks so you can see them.

I'm grading the record VG for the marks. Most of the smears are from sliding it in and out of the static free inner sleeve. Even with this type of wear, it's still one of those things you'll probably never see for another 2 years. I'm going to add a reserve but it's low considering how rare this is. Five day auction. US and Overseas must ship Express for tracking purposes. Again, it will click and pop and tick! VG allows for scratches, fingerprints and smears but the record is still very much playable. By the way, I don't own a VIP machine but it would probably remove a lot of the marks.

We will combine albums for cheaper shipping costs.

See Photos, we visually grade your records under a 100 watt bulb. This makes little nicks and scratches and scuffs jump out to us.

Handling Charge: If we charge a handling charge, it will cover our packing materials and/or free insurance for your order.

Please give all items a chance to reach you once we post we've shipped your item. All items will post with a tracking number. We've seen overseas air items take about 4 days to 2 weeks with Express Air Mail to reach customers but we've also seen items get held up at customs and take 6 weeks also. Express is always the best way to ship something because it's recommended by the USPS to be the fastest way to receive your item.

Custom forms: We ship all items overseas with federal postal custom forms. All custom forms will contain the correct shipping information and selling price and be marked Merchandise, not gift.. Please don't ask us to adjust the selling price to a higher or lower amount then the item was sold for. Please check with your customs department if there is a fee or VAT tax for imported music items so there is no misunderstandings. It is against the law in the USA to falsify custom forms.

Grading and Codes:
Grading System: Cover/Record
Records are visually graded.
Mint, SS Sealed, SS, or Mint: Is either new or still sealed.
NM Near Mint: Has very minor difference then mint. We normally grade everything near mint, even if it's mint. It's better to undergrade then overgrade.
VG++, VG+: Has been played but not a lot. Maybe some light scuffs or scratches, but no major wear or defects. Cover may have some light ring wear but not distracting. Minor seam wear also. VG++,VG+ records should be good enough for almost any collector BUT THEY ARE NOT MINT.
VG Very good: Will have a decent amount of surface scratches and / or surface noise and / or pops & ticks, but will not be too distracting. Cover will have more wear.
G / Good: Still plays through but will not look pretty, may be noisy but should play all the way through.
F/P: Fair / Poor: I wouldn't play it but might be fun to have till a great copy comes along.
