Steely Dan's 'Aja' is almost beyond criticism ....an album of infectious melodies, unique lyrics,  brilliant arrangements, and all expertly produced and recorded.  After 40 years, it still stands the test of time.

Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab released a half-speed mastered audiophile pressing ( MFSL 1-033 ) in the summer of 1980 and it is this version that many vinyl enthusiasts still seek out.  It is balanced, detailed, and plays with virtually no background noise.  In short, it is a pressing that does justice to the almost 3-dimensional audio that envelopes the room.

Gatefold Jacket: Very Good +.....some corner and edge wear but still very solid and presentable. Inner gatefold is perfect.  Cardboard, fold-open protective inner is included as is the rice paper audiophile inner-sleeve.

Double-Sided Lyric Insert: Near Mint

Record: Near Mint....both sides display a beautiful like-new shine. The audio is simply outstanding.   Both labels have some writing in red ink.  A date of  "27 May 80" is etched in the deadwax area around the Side 1 label.
