Description
An early Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab (1978) release ....Steely Dan's 'Katy Lied' (MFSL 1-007). In the 80s and 90s this audiophile pressing was the one everyone was talking about. The music was great and the sound was even better. Stan Ricker's mastering for this title is fantastic....the snap and punch in the percussion ....the tight and well-defined bass....it all comes together beautifully on this pressing. If you're properly set up and you've never heard this particular version you're going to be blown away.
Condition: Near Mint....the only item that shows any wear of course, is the original MFSL plastic shrink wrap. The cover has one inoffensive, almost unnoticeable crease (Front side; about midway/right) apart from that everything looks near perfect. The record almost looks unplayed.
