Up for auction is a copy of Mobile Fidelity Sound Lab's release of The Beatles "Magical Mystery Tour, pressed on High Definition Super Vinyl by Victor Company of Japan. mastered from the original master tapes at half speed, Catalog #MFSL 1-047, originally released in February of 1981. One of the Beatles finest albums in my opinion, songs include: "Magical Mystery Tour", "Fool On The Hill","Flying","Blue Jay Way","Your Mother Should Know","I Am The Walrus","Hello Goodbye",Strawberry Fields Forever","Penny Lane","Baby Your A Rich Man and "All You Need Is Love". I am rating the vinyl "Mint-". I studied the Lp under a direct light bulb and could not detect any marks whatsoever on the vinyl. The record label has a few spindle marks on it, that is the only flaw I noticed. The cover is in "Mint-" condition as well, there is no ringwear, scuffs or seam splits. The top right and bottom right corner of the cover each have on very tiny ding.The cardboard stiffner is intact. The Lp will make a fine addition to your MFSL Lp collection.The winning bidder will pay $4.50 for U.S. Mail's media mail service, this will include up to $50 worth of insurance. The Lp will be shipped inside of a sturdy Lp carboard mailer.
