This is a factory sealed copy of the Mobile Fidelity UHQR pressing of Holst's "The Planets" (MFQR 1-510).

NOTE- This particular pressing is unique because it was an overstock piece that Mobile Fidelity kept on hand in case they had to replace a record for warranty purposes. It is in a plain white cardboard sleeve with no box.  It is sealed with the "zipper" type of sleeve that they used on regular LP's.

Performances are by Sir Georg Solti conducting the London Philharmonic Orchestra.  It is one of the most dynamic albums that MoFi put out; which is why it is one of only 8 titles chosen to be released as a UHQR (Ultra High Quality Recording). Great sound! 

The original boxed pressing was serial numbered and limited to only 5000 copies and they sold for $50 each back in 1979 !!  The serial number was on the box so this copy does not have one. It is factory sealed with no with no bends or splits. The zippered plastic bag is completely intact except for a small section at the top right corner where the "zipper" is open for about three inches.  It is surely one of the last sealed copies left.  The photos are of the actual item for sale.  .........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
