Description

Up for auction is MFSL's most sought after Lp, Pink Floyd's brilliant masterpiece "The Dark Side Of The Moon" released on MFSL's Ultra High Quality Records (UHQR) series of limited vinyl pressings (Only 5,000 copies issued worldwide). This Lp was pressed on 200 gram virgin vinyl by the Victor Company of Japan. The Lp features the following tracks: "Speak To Me","Breathe","On The Run","Time","The Great Gig In The Sky","Money","Us & Them","Any Colour You Like","Brain Damage",& Eclipse". The Lp itself has several faint scuffs & very light scratches, none of the marks appear to have been made with an actual needle. There are two spindle marks on the label on side one and there are no spindle marks on the record label on side two. The outside box has minor scuffs. The bottom right corner of the box has been scraped and all the paper covering is off the box edge. There is also a very small scrape on the top left corner of the box lid, which is visible on the back side edge of the box lid. This is limited # 1838, and comes with the certificate of authenticity and the technical specifications manual. The sleeve that houses the Lp has a 1/2" seam split at the top of the cover, that is starting to develop. (This sleeve is in pristine condition with this exception of the seam split developing). I play graded this Lp & despite the visual appearance with the scuff marks, the record sounded fantastic. There are a few passages where there was some surface noise, but there were very limited passages where this was the case. The winning bidder will pay $6.50 for U.S. Mail's media mail service, this will include up to $175 worth of insurance.
