Description
The Allman Brothers Band---Eat A Peach--VG++ ( don't use this grade unless vinyl is exceptional).
I don't get it. I must be "Living In The Past" like Jethro Tull would say. This has to be the cleanest MFSL I've ever listened to and I've heard at least 100 of them. I guess that everyone that listened to this LP must be dead now. All I can say is "Sweet Melissa".
I keep revising this auction and this will be my last. All I ask is: Do you exist or do you live? I didn't really mean to throw a bit of philosophy into my auctions but as far as I'm concerned existence is futile but living is forever and that's what music, art and being alive is all about. This LP is alive and I hope you are too.
What can I say about this LP except that it was a classic from the day it was released. Since I saw this one in my brother's collection I swore that this will be one that I will never sell. Never say never is all I can say (I did record it to cassette and I'll be listening to this on my Nakamichi Dragon).
This LP sounds like it should sound. No flaws that I could detect. I test played all 4 sides. Spotless vinyl and labels. Top left corner of the cover has a slight ding. Check the photos. I didn't photo all four sides of the vinyl. Just the one side as it was playing but you get the idea. The matt finish style cover has very slight wear in spots but I'm being overly critical.
A Note: I just added another photo that shows a weird split in the cover. It in the back of the gatefold cover on top and right above the TE in Master. I don't want you to find any surprises. It is there but I didn't notice it till I was about to pack it for shipping.
The MFSL banner is in light blue and not orange or whatever the color of the other release is. It's pressed on Heavy vinyl and sounds absolutely fantastic.
This is the 1st time I've played it and I doubt that my brother ever has.
Another from my brother's collection that I never played till just now.
My opening bid is a bit high but I don't do "Buy-It-Now". It is LOW however for this LP.
THANKS FOR LOOKING AND GOOD LUCK!!!
My grading system: There is No Mint or Mint- in my grading. Nothing is perfect in this reality so VG+ is as high as I go.
That means that you just bought this LP and opened it without playing it!.
Sealed---Basically unknown condition until you open it. VG+---No damage, no smudges and perfect sound. (I'm adding VG++ for exceptional condition LPs) VG---Maybe slight surface noise but still "like new". G---A playable LP with surface noise, some pops but no skips and worthy of a serious collection. G-/---Basically the same as G but RARE and will only be listed when playable without distortion.
The same grading will go with Covers and inserts and will be described in detail.
I ship and leave positive feedback the same day the auction ends as long as the Post Office is open.
