M.G. & THE ESCORTS-45-A Someday Fool b/w It’s Too Late-REO Records #8975X-Canadian issue. 1966 Canadian Garage-Punk GREATNESS-Ultra-great, UltraCool, MONSTER 5-star Garage-Punk. Most of you may be familiar with this KILLER from the OFF THE WALL Vol. 2 comp. If not, this is one of the Coolest-Fuzz-guitar dominated, great tortured lead vocals, great backup vocals, KILLER, SAVAGE Fuzz guitar lead break, some good shreiks before the lead and at the conclusion. Drums are pounding & constant, also a cool rhythm guitar drives the track and holds everything together when the fuzz takes off on a riff or punctuation. 5 out of 5 punker. B side is not intense like the A side, but decent mid-tempo R&B-ish garage-punk. Farfisa organ loud in the mix. These guys had a couple of other 45’s which are also cool and recommended, but this was their ‘masterpiece’. A side has it ALL. DYNAMITE. Condition: Record is MINT-Minus on B side; A Side would be MINT-Minus, but has a small surface scuff and a small, light half-inch surface scratch visible in certain light angles-some light surface noise on B side opening due to pressing, not condition. beautiful copy overall- Label is clean both sides.
