A good usual amount of marks under light for a 78, not trashed but has been handled. I’ve had worse looking 78’s sent as ‘EX’ from dealers in the past.

We are using the grade 'EX' for items visually slightly below ‘NM’ but not as low as VG+,
We try to only sell records in EX/NM condition and do not sell any trashed/scratched records.

Records are not cleaned before grading/shipping and are graded/sold as is. A NM/Mint looking record can still have static/ticks etc, a deep clean can usually fix this.
