If you are bidding for vinyl, you are familiar with a number of grading standards. I follow Goldmine to the letter, grading conservatively vinyl, label, insert and cover. I have been listening to music all my life and collecting for the past 40+ years, so I understand how  important accuracy is when describing the condition of an album being sold. My feedback rating reflects that precisely. I grade visually and spot check the audio quality playing back on a Goldring turntable with a Denon cartridge, powered by a modest NAD 304 integrated amp with a pair of near monitor Fanfare Acoustics speakers.

I can not listen to every record I own, so I have decided to part with those that I do not absolutely love or have doubles of. All the records I will be selling are from my personal collection or very special acquisitions from other private collections. I will be posting a little bit of everything from Rock to Reggae, Psych to Folk, Latin to Jazz and even Classical. Vinyl is Alive!

Vinyl Rating:

a) Looks: NM- with a very nice sheen and a few hairliners that do not affect the sound at all. No spindal marks on the label.

b) Sounds: NM- with a very clean sound. Nice full sound with no skips or pops. Very nice vinyl indeed.

Cover Rating: NM- still with shrink on. No bends, splits or spine ware, just a little use at opening.

About this recording: This is the Miami Sound Machine 2nd release on the Audiofon label, a very rare find in this great condition. A great example of the Miami dance sound of the era. A great find for a MSM or Gloria Estefan fan. A great rendition of "Usted Abuso". Enjoy!
