MICAH: I'm Only One Man LP rare ORIGINAL Psyhce Moog Sterling Award Records.This is extremely hard to find. This is original and NOT the reissue. Cover has general wear see photos. The record is VG+. 'Micah is a very little-known American underground rock band from the early 70s. Their music is a great blend of American hard/psychedelic rock style and British art/symphonic rock. I'm Only One Man was created as a suite, each track goes into the next one, very well composed and played on an immense high standard with great Hammond organ, amazing fuzz guitars, powerful drums, driven bass lines and great vocals. This album you would expect from a major release on labels such as Epic/CBS. If you like the early albums of Quatermass, If, Cressida, Beggar's Opera, Arcadium and Deep Purple you will love this one. It is way more sophisticated than other major label releases of the same period. This album makes the fuzz guitar aficionados happy as well as those into great Hammond sounds.'
'Tight organ and guitar-based progressive hardrock from a big-haired Florida quintet who recorded this for a production company in New York. The album is essentially one long suite based on a theme of alienation, although the sharp musical passages easily overshadow the lyrics. Beyond the UK prog moves the sound seems a bit Santana-influenced (the percussion has a definite latin flavor), and it also reminds me of Euphoria's Lost In Trance at times, except with more conventional vocals.
