Condition : laminated cover on both sides is in great shape, MINT- / vinyl has some minor scuffs on the first side wch do not affect listening with the exception of few faint clicks. Second side is perfect, EX+

GRADAZIONE RIGOROSA - STRICTLY GRADED

Copertine e vinili sono visualmente gradati dopo un’attenta osservazione sotto la luce del sole fatta sulla mia terrazza a tetto. Nelle giornate grigie vengono controllati sotto una forte lampada alogena con l’aiuto di una lente d’ingrandimento. Tutti i i 33 giri in asta sono stati interamente ascoltati su un giradischi Rega Planar 3 fornito di una testina a magnete mobile Grado Statement 1. Per EP e singoli a 45 giri utilizzo un Thorens TD 166 BC con testina, sempre MM, Goldring 1006. Ritenendo che le abituali classificazioni quali Mint, Ex, Vg, ecc., ecc… siano poco significative per spiegare le reali condizioni dei dischi ed anche estremamente soggettive, precedo sempre tali classificazioni con una breve descrizione degli eventuali difetti che ho riscontrato, ad eccezione di Mint- che il più alto grado che conferisco a qualsiasi disco. Soltanto per le copie ancora sigillate all’origine utilizzo MINT/MINT.

Sleeves and vinyls are visually graded after a careful check in bright sunshine on my roof terrace. In the gray days I watch the records under a strong halogen lamp with the help of a magnifying glass. All LPs in auction have been fully heard on a Rega Planar 3 turntable with a Grado Statement 1 moving magnet cartridge. I listen EPs and singles 45 rpm. on a Thorens TD 166 BC turntable with a Goldring 1006 MM cartridge. Considering that the usual classifications such as Mint, EX, Vg, etc…, etc… are not significant to explain the real condition of the records in addition to a total subjectivity of opinion, I always introduce before these classifications a short description concerning any defects I have verified with the exception of Mint minus, the highest grade I declare. I use MINT/MINT exclusively for the still from factory sealed copies.

Note : direi che Micalizzi ha ben lavorato e la sua colonna sonora è ricca di interessanti trovate quali il particolare utilizzo del coro e la chitarra elettrica con distorsore. Naturalmente ciò che più conta è la piacevolezza del suo ascolto. Esame ampiamente superato. Il bel sapore dell'armonica a bocca, l'affascinante vecchio stile del banjo, gli assoli della tromba, chitarre, tastiere, effetti elettronici (a7) contribuiscono efficacemente alla godibilità dell'album. Ricordo "Sacramento" versioni 1 e 3 (a1 - b7) caratterizzati dai belli vocalizzi del coro con l'accompagnamento dell'armonica a bocca e dell'orchestra su una vivace ritmicità generale. "Jesus We Love You" (b1) ottimo spiritual cantato in Inglese da una voce maschile e seguito dal canto del coro, " Senza Via d'Uscita" (b5), dall'atmosfera tesa scandita da percussioni, distorsioni di chitarra elettrica, organo, tastiere e tromboni. Infine "Il Cielo Negli Occhi 1°" (a2) condotto da suggestivi vocalizzi femminili.

Notes : I would say Micalizzi has worked well and his score is full of bright ideas such as the particular use of the chorus and electric guitar with distortion. Of course, what matters most is the pleasantness of listening. Question largely passed. The lovely flavor of harmonica, the charming banjo, the trumpet solos, guitars, keyboards, electronic effects (a7) contribute effectively to the enjoyment of the album. I mention "Sacramento" versions 1 and 3 (a1 - b7) characterized by beautiful male and female vocalizations with accompaniment of harmonica and orchestra on an overall lively rhythm. "We Love You Jesus" (b1) a nice spiritual sung in English by a male voice followed by the choral singing , "Senza Via d'Uscita" (b5), from tense atmosphere marked by percussion, distorted electric guitar, organ, keyboards and trombones.  Finally "Il Cielo Negli Occhi 1°" (a2) led by beautiful female vocalisations.
