The likes of Mike Brecker and his brother Randy, Marvin Stamm, Bill Watrous, Paul Falise and Wayne Andre are the trombone section, the brilliant Aussie keyboard player, Alan Zavod, etc etc!!!! - -This superb lineup gives us a superb experience, their soloing and ensemble playing alike are truly masterful. With the vehicle of Gibbs writing and arranging, it is a perfect marriage! We have to give thanks to the Arts Council of Great Britain for giving a partial bursary to this project, for once they seem to have got it right, giving it to a truly magnificent musician who actually deserves it for a change!! - All compositions are from Mike Gibb's and as usual, all are magnificent, descriptive, sometimes extremely modally moving pieces - Sit back, ENJOY, you WILL be moved! - Trax are: "The start of something similar", "Four or less", "Dance:Blue", "To lady Mac in memory", "In the public interest" and "To Lady Mac, in sympathy".
