Description
MICHAEL HURLEY & PALS: Armchair Boogie (WB WS 1919 / Raccoon #3)
- Condition : Cover is EX, slightest wear, time strip on lower front. Vinyl is NM, white label promo. Has the booklet (also NM).
- Description : Rare 1971 original from this national treasure of weirdo-Americana / freak-folk. Includes the 8pp b&w comic book insert, "Boone & Jocko in The Barren, Choking Land". Not sure how The Youngbloods convinced Warners to issue their "Raccoon" vanity sub-label series of decidedly strange solo projects and albums by their freaky friends (i.e. Mr. Hurley here). Anyway the two Hurley LPs in the series seem to be far rarer than the Youngbloods and solo LPs. I have the other Hurley title on WB/Raccoon up this week as well. FYI, any promos in the Raccoon series (such as this one on offer here) will have "Promotion Not For Sale" wording on the labels- many stock issue WB/Raccoon LP's also used a white label with black print (NOT a green label) for their stock copies.
- Buyer pays $7 for priority / delivery conf. shipment OR $3.25 for media mail / delivery conf. shipment in USA; foreign billed at approximate cost (see rates below). Combine multiple wins to save on shipping. PA residents must add 6% sales tax.
- Condition of this item is guraranteed to be as stated in the above description. Grading is strict and visual. All used LP's are cleaned on a Loricraft machine before grading.
- Records are shipped in a cardboard record mailer with sufficient padding, and the disc is removed from the jacket to prevent seamsplits.
- I do not end auctions early. No offense, but if you ask, you will not receive a reply, sorry.
- Please do not ask me to email you with a list of every song on an LP. If you are looking for a specific song, inquire with the name of the song, I'll check ASAP to see if it's on the LP and reply promptly, but I don't have time to type out the names of every track, sorry to say.
