A rare version of Michael Jackson's classic "Thriller" here... this is the full-length Thriller Video version, definitely a record you don't see everyday. This one has excellent playback. 
This record is one of a large collection I recently acquired from a retired DJ out of the NYC area.  His days spinning were from the late 70's until the early to mid-80's.  I was told some pretty interesting stories about his time at the Palladium, though I can't verify any of them only that he absolutely lived for music, frequented many record stores and hung out in all the clubs back in the day.  All are very clean records, keep an eye out on my listings in the upcoming days and weeks for more listings.  I'll be posting them as I listen to them... in no particular order, 12" singles as well as LP's - mostly dance music but also some classic rock.

Vinyl:  VG++ to NM-
The record has been cleaned on my VPI machine and handled with care. I try to be conservative when grading and also use many pictures as well as detailed text to properly describe the record for sale.
Beautiful shine as the pictures show! Overall very clean vinyl with only a few very light surface scuffs and possibly a light mark I missed... nothing to affect play. Playback is clean and clear - this is a nice playing disc. The label is bright and clear as one would hope for.
The record is single sided.  Back side is completely smooth with 2 holes as shown. The disc appears to be aluminum with the acetate coating.  All is in great condition.
There are NO etchings or stamps on either side.  The disc sounds like it was cut from a master tape.  Because the collection containing this record was rather large, I don't know the record's backstory as it was just mixed in with all the others... I didn't even find it until several days after going through the crates.  There are other test pressings from other artists in the lot as well, those will be listed here later on when I get around to listening to them. Like I said before, he bought records constantly back in the day... he also had acquired quite a concise collection of Michael Jackson 12 inch singles as well as other Jackson family records.
As for playback, please judge for yourself below.  I've included the entire track.  I use a Yamaha P-520 direct drive turntable with a Digitrac cartridge at 2g.

Cover / Sleeve:  
The sleeve is the one that the record came with.  It is a heavy stock, vanilla paper with a window and looks great.  Nice condition. The record will ship in a separate sleeve outside the sleeve you see pictured.  All will be inside a new clear sleeve, then packed and padded as all my records ship. Please see my feedback to rest assured I take pride in my shipping practices.
Please inspect the pictures well for something I may have missed mentioning. I've enjoyed the record while I've owned it, its time to let it go to make room for more acquisitions. I try to be conservative when grading, I hope my description was sufficient.

All records are packaged with care and shipped outside their sleeves and covers, encased in bubble wrap, padded with cardboard when necessary, boxed in record boxes and taped well. SS = Still Sealed
any defects will be listed and/or photographed to complete the description

NM- = Near Mint Minus
just short of perfect - acceptable defects would include a hairline mark not detectable to the touch and not affecting playback, background noise is nearly silent

VG++ = Very Good Plus Plus
most records I will list fall under this grade, just short of NM- but may have a mark or contact wear to the label to grade it slightly lower, maybe a drill hole or saw cut, maybe a mark or name written on the label lightly, sound is still great, loud and near perfect, cover may have slight edge or corner wear, maybe slight ring wear

VG+ = Very Good Plus
 a great record, sound is high quality though may have a few pops or clicks, overall very nice looking vinyl possibly with light marks & scuffs, labels may have a name or mark on them, possible light contact wear to the label, covers may have a small split but not large or gaping, edge wear on cover may show more than slight, may be a mark on cover

VG = Very Good
only records I will list with this grade would be rather rare or of higher book value, meant to sell as a filler until a better record comes along, vinyl may have feel-able marks but should play through without skipping, pops or clicks may be louder than usual, may have marks or wear on the label, cover may have open splits, wear on print, may have marks or other very apparent defects (all will be stated in description either by type or in the pictures)
