Description
I was in the process of selling my vintage, vinyl 45RPM and LP collection when news of Michael Jackson's death stunned the world. Gone is my Beatles collection, gone is my British Invasion collection, and gone is my classic rock collection. There are, however, a few rarities that still need to find a good home, unique items that included this treasure now up for auction.
You are bidding on a rare, Michael Jackson, nine-single set, printed in red vinyl, and released by Epic Records in 1983. The item is in mint condition--the day I purchased it is the way the winner will receive it. There are some flaws in some of the dust jackets due to the manufacturer's packing process--a minor fold, a circular imprint caused by the record, or a bend due to the plastic case, but nothing major. If you would like to see more photos of the item, please ask. I will be happy to respond. I hesitate to remove all the singles from their cases for fear of damaging the items.
The set includes studio versions of Thriller, The Girl Is Mine, Billie Jean, and two live recordings -- Rock With You and Things I Do For You. All recording are in true stereo.
I am also including in this auction another very rare, red vinyl Elvis Costello 45RPM that I won in a radio contest. The winner receive the documentation as well as the recording of Mr. Costello's version of My Funny Valentine--very cool. And if you bid now, I will include at no extra cost (I am beginning to sound like a TV pitchman--sorry), a newspaper printed in Japanese that announced Micheal's passing to the Japanese community.
Winner must contact seller within 1 days after the close of auction to confirm his/her intention to pay for the item(s). Seller must receive payment, PayPal, US funds, within 7 days days after auction closes. Winner agrees to pay cost of shipping. Cost of shipping will include the price of mandatory Delivery Confirmation and packing materials. Seller reserves the right not to finalize the transaction if the winner has excessive, negative feedback. The seller is not responsible for damages incurred during delivery if the buyer does not opt for insurance. I will give feedback to the buyer after the buy leaves me feedback.
