This record is in near mint condition. It has no obvious spindle marks visible on the labels with just a fraction of light rubbing to the inside of the centre holes. There are are no pen marks, scuffs or any other damage such as stains or fading and overall the labels are clean, bright and in really nice condition.
As for the vinyl itself both sides are very clean with a gorgeous lustre and little showing in normal light. It has a few faint signs of use showing under bright light but certainly nothing remotely deep, serious or obvious. There is also some very light 'hazyness/mottling' visible when angled in the dead wax area. This is only very faint but can be seen lightly. It is no doubt caused by having sat in the the poly-lined inner for the last 50+ years. Overall the record is very clean visually with nothing more than the most minor and faint wispy line showing when angled or under bright light.
I play tested the record and it played well with nice clarity throughout. It lays perfectly flat on the deck and there is little to no movement in the record arm upon playing. The sound produced is excellent with no distortion caused by excessive use and no skips, sticks or annoying clicks. There was a trace of surface noise in the run ins on each side and a fraction in the quiet intro to side 1 but this was at a very minor level. The vast majority of play has little to no surface noise but of course with this being a used 60+ year old classical lp there is the odd most minor fraction in places. There is certainly nothing at all serious or major however and overall it was a thoroughly enjoyable listen throughout.
It includes its original poly-lined inner which is in excellent- condition. This has no splits, tears or pen marks but has light signs of age and some discolouring. The original will of course be included but the record will be sent in a new plain white replacement to ensure it remains clean and ready to play.
The record will be packaged in between cardboard stiffeners and bubble wrapped thoroughly when dispatched. It will also be sent in a brand new protective plastic sleeve, and within 24hrs of receiving payment to try to ensure a swift delivery.
