Michael Rabin (violin) with Leon Pommers (piano). MOSAICS original STEREO LP on Capitol Records SP 8506. Includes original Capitol printed inner sleeve.
EXTREMELY rare late '50s stereo LP from the legendary American violin virtuoso who died tragically at age 35. I have seen copies of this record (in stereo) sell for up to $1,000.
Features: Chopin Nocturne Op. 27; Wieniawski Caprice in A Minor; Mompou Jeunes filles au jardin; Scriabin Etude in Thirds; Debussy La plus que lente; Sarasate Habanera; Elgar La Capriceuse; Engel Sea-Shell; Sarasate Zapateado; Ravel Piece en forme de habanera; Prokofiev March (Love for Three Oranges); and Suk Burleska.
JACKET CONDITION: VG+ (slight chipping to spine but no paper loss, light shelf wear, 3" seam split on top and 1" on bottom near jacket opening, price sticker residue on front cover)
VINYL CONDITION: NM- (VERY light paper scuffs but NO scratches, plays from start to finish with superb sound and very minimal occasional noise, quite a nice, clean copy!!!)
Will be carefully and securely packed in a sturdy LP mailer.
