Description

Michael Snow's seminal "The Last LP" which purported to compile "unique last recordings of the music of ancient cultures" but was in fact entirely created by the artist himself. This artpiece was issued on Art Metropole label and comes in a beautiful gatefold sleeve containing extensive "liner notes" that go along with the album's conceit, and an explanation of the facts behind the album written backwards which can be decoded in a mirror. Also included with this vinyl album is a copy of Anthology Film Archives' October - December 2009 program, which for which Michael Snow did the cover art. Yes this is your chance to own a second original Michael Snow multiple. Snow's cover art for the Anthology program consisted entirely of the Anthology's art guidlines reprinted with "Snow '09" written at the bottom. What a comedian.

Condition: Mint / Near Mint (extremely clean, shiny vinyl, probably unplayed; sleeve near mint, with only the slightest corner wear visible; interior of gatefold perfect; copy of Anthology Program with Michael Snow artwork also Mint)
