Description
MICHAEL STOSIC -- Same -- hard to find, original 1982 U.S. album. Very good and apparently unknown private press Modern Soul-R&B-Pop album by this local Reno, Nevada area artist w/ funky white-boy Hall & Oates moves on uptempo tracks like "Backstreet Dancer," "Light Of Love," plus nice smooth Modern Soul-Pop ballads. Includes B&W p.r. photo of Stosic, xerox of article on him from local Reno paper and letter from his agent at Nevada Talent & Booking. Stosic apparently played in a local early 1970's Reno rock band called The House Of Lords (who opened for Sky Saxon & The Seeds in their later days) before moving into a more radio friendly Soul-Pop vein. This was privately pressed on Stosic's own Kristofer Records label, named after his son. A very obscure album -- I've never seen another copy. See photo for track list. Cover: VG+, 5" separation at top edge, light ring wear and wear at corners. Record: VG+++/Near Mint-, on Kristofer private label, U.S. press.
