This auction is for the double LP MICHIGAN BRAND NUGGETS, a compilation of 60s era punk from the Detroit,Michigan area. Gatefold cover, extensive liner notes, Limited Edition, numbered 980 out of 1000. Record is in great condition, cover shows only very minor wear. Features 5 terrific, raw, early MC5 singles, pre-Elecktra, on the local Total Energy label (“Looking At You”; “Borderline”; “I Can Only Give You Everthing”; “One Of The Guys”; and “I Just Don’t Know”), plus 7 very early and rare Bob Segar singles (“Heavy Music, Part 2”; “Persecution Smith”; “East Side Story”; “Lookin’ Back”; “Chain Smokin’”; “Ballad Of The Yellow Beret”; and “Sock It To Me Santa”) plus rare singles by The Amboy Dukes (featuring Ted Nugent), Question Mark and the Mysterions, The Rationals, The Unrelated Segments, The Underdogs, The Human Beings, The Underdogs, plus more – including a hellfire and brimstone sermon by Dr. Jack Van Impe condemning that evil rock-n-roll.
