Description
This is the duo's first album after the huge success of "Love Is Strange" (which is not on this LP). Side One is made up of the "Love Is Strange" knockoff "Love Will Make You Fail In School", "Peace Of Mind", "Rise Sally Rise", "Who Knows Why?" , "Say The Word" and "Too Much Weight". Side Two has "Where Is My Honey", "Seems Like Just Yesterday", "A New Idea On Love", "Forever And A Day", "I've Got A Feeling" and the instrumental "Shake It Up". The cover is in very good + condition- the seams are nice and tight with no tears, there is no writing on the cover. There are a few minor problems- there are a few very small tears over the word New in "New Orthophonic" and another tiny tear next to the Y in Mickey (see photo). There are also a few nibbles along the right side of the cover. The record is for the most part in very good + condition- there is a scratch that runs from the end of "Rise Sally Rise" into "Too Much Weight". That's the bad news - the good news is the 1st 2 songs(Love Will..." and "Peace..." ) play with no problems. "Rise Sally Rise " plays with no problems, "Who Knows Why" and "Say The Word" play with a light click that comes and goes goes and finally "Too Much Weight" plays with no problems. Side Two is in mint minus condition and plays through with no problems- no pops, clicks etc. etc.
